Template center and material library

Templates and the material library turn repeated canvas structures, business frameworks, and visual elements into reusable resources, so you spend less time rebuilding from a blank canvas.

Choosing between a template and material

Templates suit a complete working structure; material suits a single shape, card, or decorative element. Search by keyword first, then use the preview to confirm the content and where it fits.

Steps

  1. 1
Open the template center or material library

Reach the template center or material library from the toolbar and filter for what you need by keyword.

  2. 2
    Preview and choose

Look at the template structure, the number of elements, and the usage notes, then add it to the current canvas.

  3. 3
    Drag onto the canvas

Drag the item to the target position on the canvas; releasing creates an element you can keep editing.

  4. 4
    Modify and save back

Adapt the content to the current project, and save structures you use often as templates for the team to reuse.

FAQ

Why wait for the preview to finish before dragging material?

Placing an item after the preview completes avoids creating blank or duplicate elements, and makes sure what lands on the canvas matches the preview.

Can I still edit a template after adding it?

Yes. Once template content is added to the canvas it becomes ordinary canvas elements that you can move, edit, and delete.
