Personal component and material libraries

The personal component library stores reusable canvas components you have designed yourself, while the material library manages resources such as images, files, audio, and video. They solve reuse at different levels.

Steps

  1. 1
    Save canvas components

Select one or more elements you have already designed, add them to the personal component library, and give them an easy-to-find name.

  2. 2
    Upload personal material

Upload images, files, audio, or video in the material library and wait for the thumbnails and resource information to be generated.

  3. 3
Drag onto the canvas to reuse

Drag a component or material to the target position on the canvas; releasing creates exactly one corresponding element.

  4. 4
    Tidy your resources

Delete out-of-date resources and use clear naming so the component and material libraries do not become hard to search.

FAQ

What is the difference between the component library and the material library?

The component library stores combinations of canvas elements that stay editable; the material library is more about original resources such as images, files, audio, and video.

Why do two elements appear after dragging?

A normal drag-and-drop creates the element only once. Avoid triggering drag-and-drop and click-to-add at the same time, and wait for the current placement to finish.
