Notes, images, and attachments
Diagrams express structure, while notes, images, and attachments preserve context. Keeping them on the same canvas cuts down on constantly switching between tools.
Recommended usage
Use text for conclusions and to-dos, images for screenshots and references, and attachments for the original files. When there is a lot of content, divide it by topic instead of piling everything in one place.
Steps
- 1Add text and notes
Choose a text or note element and type explanations, conclusions, questions, and action items.
- 2Insert images
Upload screenshots, photos, or reference images through the image entry, and drag the edges to resize while keeping the aspect ratio.
- 3Add attachments
Place original files or supporting material as attachments next to the relevant topic to preserve the source relationship.
- 4Organize the reading order
Use headings, areas, and connectors so the relationship between diagrams, notes, and material is obvious at a glance.
FAQ
Will images be stretched out of shape?
Keep the original aspect ratio when resizing. To view an image at full size, use preview instead of repeatedly zooming on the canvas, which disturbs the layout.
What is the difference between an attachment and an image?
Images are for showing visual content directly; attachments are for keeping original documents, data, or other files that need to be downloaded and opened.
