Version history and content recovery
When a whiteboard has been through team collaboration or major adjustments, version history helps you review what changed and lowers the risk of mistakes.
When to use version history
Confirm the current version before submitting a major plan, reorganizing a complex diagram, or running a multi-person review. Open version history when you find an accidental deletion, a messy layout, or need to compare earlier plans.
Steps
- 1Open version history
Open the version history list from the toolbar's more-features entry or the related whiteboard entry.
- 2Browse by time
Pick the version you want by time and editing stage, and preview the content changes first.
- 3Compare the key differences
Focus on whether nodes, connectors, comments, and material changed as expected.
- 4Restore or stay on the current version
Restore the old version only once you have confirmed it. If you are just checking, close the preview and keep editing the current content.
FAQ
Does restoring a version overwrite the current content?
Restoring is a change to the current whiteboard content. Confirm the version time and content scope first, and keep a copy of important results.
Can version history replace manual backups?
Version history is good for reviewing and restoring. For important deliverables, still export or copy a copy so you have a clearer backup.
