Frames and presentation mode

Frames turn an infinite canvas into ordered pages and are an important foundation for presentation mode. Each frame carries one topic or stage, which makes the reading path clearer.

Steps

  1. 1
    Create a frame

Choose the frame tool, drag a frame around the target content, and give the frame a clear name.

  2. 2
    Organize the frame content

Put elements on the same topic inside the frame; moving the frame keeps its contents organized together.

  3. 3
    Set the presentation order

Arrange the frames in the presentation panel to match how you will tell the story, and check the content boundaries of each page.

  4. 4
    Enter presentation mode

Once the presentation starts, move through the frames in order and use the laser pointer or pointing tools to highlight key points.

FAQ

Can I present without frames?

Presentation mode normally uses frames as page units. Creating frames first gives you a steadier playback order and viewport range.

Does moving a frame take its elements with it?

Elements that belong to the frame move with it. Confirm the container relationships before you move anything.
