Pen, lasso, and eraser
The freehand pen suits sketches and annotations, the lasso is good for selecting irregular areas, the eraser clears elements away, and the laser pointer is for temporary pointing during presentations.
Steps
- 1Choose the pen and set its style
Select the pen tool, set the color and thickness, then press and drag on the canvas to write or mark.
- 2Select with the lasso
Enclose the elements you want to work with, then close the loop or release to move, copy, or delete them as a group.
- 3Clean up with the eraser
Drag over what you want to delete and release once you have confirmed the hit area. An accidental deletion can be undone immediately.
- 4Use the laser pointer while presenting
The laser pointer trail is only for temporary pointing; unlike the regular pen it does not stay on the canvas.
FAQ
What is the difference between the pen and sketch recognition?
The pen keeps your original freehand stroke; sketch recognition tries to convert the stroke into a clean shape.
Why did the lasso not select some elements?
Make sure the lasso fully covers the target elements. Content that is locked, hidden, or inside another container may need you to enter the relevant level first.
