Export, copy, and reuse results
Once a whiteboard is finished you usually still need it for reporting, review, archiving, or further editing. Tidy the canvas boundaries and reading order before exporting for a clearer result.
Checks before exporting
Confirm that nothing is covered up, that text and images have finished loading, and that connectors are not broken. For complex content, organize it by area first, then decide whether to export everything or just a part.
Steps
- 1Tidy the canvas content
Delete discarded drafts, unify headings and spacing, and check diagram endpoints and image display.
- 2Choose the output range
Choose the whole whiteboard, a selected area, or a single diagram depending on the purpose.
- 3Export or copy
Export the result for reporting and archiving, or copy it into another whiteboard to keep editing.
- 4Keep the source file
After exporting, keep the original whiteboard and attachments in the project so later versions are easy to produce.
FAQ
Why check that images have loaded before exporting?
If an image has not finished loading, the export may contain blank placeholders or incomplete results. Waiting for loading to finish gives more reliable output.
Can an export still be edited?
Image-based exports usually do not preserve the full editing structure. If you need to keep changing things, keep the original whiteboard or copy the editable elements.
